Halo!

Very often people use “hallo” instead of “hello” when they are posting something on the Internet. As you can see in my ‘Quack Wars’ entry, a spelling mistake can lead to quite humorous results! And the same happened when a newbie made a post on the lines of “halo, I have a problem….” (not the exact line, something like this). Like many others, my mind conjured up the image of Halo’s Master Chief and this is what I posted:

halo_master_chief_got_a_problem

Needless to say, that little post put me and a few others in a spot of bother with the mods for harassing a new member. ;)

  • Ha ha ha! I SO agree with you! I can make an exhaustive list of stupid spelling mistakes people make in the internet world :P for example the short form testi for testimonial on Orkut is one of those weird things… testi otherwise was a shotform for testicles. hahaha :D

    • Apparently people have no time to write the words in full, doesn’t matter if their short form turns out to be something completely diffeent to what they were trying to say! :P
