It’s Only Words

Music->Lyrics

Music->Lyrics

A bit dull around here, eh? The steady stream of thoughts that used to flow into this blog has dried up and the only things I’ve posted recently are a few news bits and a cartoon of a cartoon. To liven things up, I’ve made another category called Music->Lyrics. In this little section I will be sharing verses that I find to be exceptional, touching or having a deeper meaning. In other words, it would be like a ‘recommended listening’ thing, if only for the lyrics.

The genres would be diverse, that’s for sure.I’m hoping it would be like a series (now if only I could think of a catchy title) that would be posted every now and then (sorry, can’t guarantee a fixed schedule).

With this update, I’m off to make a list of the first few entries. Cheers! ;)

    hehe, great concept I must say :P

    Didn’t know you were a metalhead too (atleast that’s what it seems from the first post)

    I’ll point out if I catch any song with great/exceptional lyrics…. ;)

    @shishir
    LP is for kids :P
    You want better lyrics (atleast on LP) listen to Runaway, Points Of Authority :)

    Even so, there are far more death metal bands with great lyrics than LP :P \m/

    Yes, I’ve heard it and the words really mean a lot in the current scenario. That’s the whole point of this thing – highlighting exceptional lyrics. :)

    Thanks for your contribution! ;)

    At first, you might think it’s just another rap song, but read the lyrics, listen to the song again, twice, thrice, and the true meaning of the song will begin to sink in. ;)

    Have you listened to Hands held high by Linkin Park? The music may not be all that great, but the lyrics are. :)
